Current hours for this position will be Sun-wed 7pm-530am
Summary
Interprets physicians' prescriptions and compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines. Consults with customers regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions. Counsels’ customers and handles complex problem resolution. Requires a RPh license
What you will do
Provide oversight and direction to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Oversee team workflow processes, maximizing productivity and time efficiency
Interpret physicians’ or prescribers’ prescriptions
Verify prescription information entered in the system by data entry or order entry
Maintain quality assurance / quality control documentation
Provide initial and on-going training and support to pharmacists and technicians
Engage in production planning, KPI monitoring, internal and external team meetings
Provide audit and inspection support including preparation and follow up
Assist with Fulfillment leadership development programs
Serve as a staff level model for Cigna values and behaviors.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D, degree is required
Current Florida resident pharmacist license in good standing is required
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt in a changing environment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
