Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Assistant Controller in our accounting department, you will be a key member of the finance team. This role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. Our team works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and our mission, to care like family. In this role:
You will assist in financial activities of the Hospital.
You will be responsible for assisting in the management of the financial department including accounting and decision support services staff within the confines of company policy, GAAP, and federal regulations.
You will manage the daily accounting activities including supervising and reviewing performance of accounting staff.
You will be responsible for processing and preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and basic office duties.
What qualifications you will need:
4-year Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
2 years accounting and/ or related experience required.
High proficiency on computer systems and spreadsheets.
