Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Assistant Controller in our accounting department, you will be a key member of the finance team. This role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. Our team works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and our mission, to care like family. In this role:

• You will assist in financial activities of the Hospital.

• You will be responsible for assisting in the management of the financial department including accounting and decision support services staff within the confines of company policy, GAAP, and federal regulations.

• You will manage the daily accounting activities including supervising and reviewing performance of accounting staff.

• You will be responsible for processing and preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and basic office duties.

What qualifications you will need:

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• 2 years accounting and/ or related experience required.

• High proficiency on computer systems and spreadsheets.
