JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: Property Accountant Location: Oregon, WI Job Id: 2747 # of Openings: 1 PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT At Gorman & Company, we believe that our people are our most important asset. As a Property Accountant you will: Prepare financial reports such as monthly financial packets, B/S and I/S, operating statements, and reconciliation papers. Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliations and provide cash management recommendations as appropriate. Provide trainings and support to management team, such as, assistance with bad debt account and month end packages, suggestions on expense control, and/or modification and actions taken. Prepare tax reports as needed. Assist outside tax accountants at year end, assist with preparing tax returns, supporting schedules, and other necessary data. Assemble and route financial data such as Sales and Use Reports, financial statements, monthly key metric reports, and payroll documents. Assist with the key performance of on-going internal audits or property accounting controls, including accuracy of reports. Prepare and assist with special reports/projects. Property Accountant Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Bachelor\'s degree preferred. Minimum of three years accounting work experience. Real Page Products experience a plus. Familiarity with legal documents a plus. Prior Property Accounting experience a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills. Why work with us at Gorman?
