Learn more about Gorman at: https://www.youtube.com/user/GormanUSA As a Development Coordinator, you will: Coordinate and submit responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQ\'s) and Requests for Proposals (RFP\'s) for potential future development opportunities with a focus on affordable and mixed-income rental housing. Work with the Regional Market President(s) to coordinate developments from inception through lease up. Prepare preliminary market studies, maintain project schedules, submit funding applications, and follow up documentation, coordinate project due diligence, and participate in project team meetings. Work with development team in standardizing and establishing methods such as development checklists, electronic file organization, and application processes. Provide on-going coordination between architects, contractors, and other members of the project development team. Maintain a high level of understanding of federal and state tax credit markets, real estate closing processes, and legal documentation related to affordable housing transactions. Function as the go-to contact within Gorman for questions regarding the tax credit process or Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) in the State markets we work in. Respond quickly and professionally to requests and serve as the point of contact for outside consultants. Administrative tasks as assigned including credit card coding, processing monthly invoices, etc. for various Market Presidents. Handle multiple deadline-driven projects in a truly fast-paced, team-oriented, multi-tasking environment. What do I need to qualify to be at Development Coordinator? Two+ years direct work experience in the affordable housing industry and/or related field. Associate or bachelor\'s degree in Real Estate, Paralegal, Business, Urban Planning, or similar areas preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
