Job Title: General Laborer - Assembly - Pay: $16-18/hr

Job Description

SHIFT TIME:

• M-F 7am-3:30pm

• First shift only

• OT here and there

• Understands daily outputs with a goal of performing at or above average minutes per piece of Team.

• Understand and follow the organization's Quality Management System. Keeps work area organized following 5S work standards diligently.

• Participate with all sustainability efforts including waste reduction and recycling.

• Work productively and cooperatively in a team environment. Maintain strong lines of communication with your supervisor and all team members to collectively work towards team goals. Be proficient in all areas within your responsibility and offer and promote changes for improvement.

• Perform production order confirmations accurately recording Yield, Labor, Reworks, and Final confirmations.

• Keep your Supervisor aware of any needed changes and or reasons for missing standard.

• Participate with any additional reporting methods used to assist the groups in the production process.

Hard Skills

• Demonstrate and train within technical tasks

• Reading and interpreting blueprints

• Repetitive building of units

• Sitting, bending, crimping

• Able to use small parts and hand tools

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Orchard Park, New York.

Work Environment

Very clean, well-lit, feels like a clean room environment. Needs to be since they work with Medical devices. Friendly atmosphere. Can wear headphones at work stations.
