JPMorgan Chase Lead Technical Program Manager - Data Center in Orangeburg, New York

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Infrastructure Platforms within Data Center Services, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Supports the engineering and operations teams during planning, design, development, construction, installation, system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes

  • Monitors processes, workers, and methods, and develops plans for increased efficiency

  • Assists with major event planning, preparedness and execution

  • Analyzes existing systems and operations to deploy increased efficiency strategies globally

  • Identifies potential problems and notifying the relevant stakeholders

  • Collaborates with the Operations Team and peers to ensure products are implemented consistently to a high standard globally, highlight best practices, and elevate process and product recommendations to senior management.

  • Performs quality control on projects, effective documentation and making recommendations for improvement

  • Embraces leading edge technologies and collaborate with peers across the globe, to enhance our daily operations methodologies

  • Supports a stable and resilient operating environment with emphasis applied towards maximizing the potential of all available resources, expanding the capabilities and productivity of technical staff, and continuous improvement upon past performance

  • Provides support according to region and be available 7x 24 x 365 for critical "Priority 1" escalation / on-call support when necessary

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in an advanced world-class data center environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization

  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients

  • Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services

  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities

  • Expertise prioritizing customer experience, reviewing feedback, hosting customer forums and focus groups to proactively address the needs of the customer

  • Expertise in core technologies related to Data Centers

  • Experience supporting enterprise-class hardware deployments

  • Working knowledge of physical infrastructure (compute, network, storage)

  • Understanding of network concepts (switching, routing, perimeter security)

  • Strong oral and written communications

  • Advanced knowledge of performance metrics and reporting, technical problem resolution and risk management

  • Experience gathering and analyzing data to effect meaningful change in areas that need improvement

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise technology infrastructure architecture, design and business processes
