Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position will provide custodial duties from the hours of 10:00am to 7:00pm.

The work location will be 775 Harley Strickland Blvd. Orange City, FL .

Follow directed cleaning schedule as provided by Maintenance Supervisor, including but not limited to general cleaning and/or dusting of all walls, glass, furniture, equipment, restrooms, disinfecting of all hand touch surfaces, vacuuming/cleaning of floors and carpeting, removal of trash and emptying and properly handling biohazard waste containers.

Keep building and grounds, including entryways, sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots clean and free of trash and debris.

Secure assigned area at the end of work shift, secure and check that all doors have been locked.

Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and request additional supplies as needed from supervisor.

Advise Supervisor when building requires a work order for a specific area/location.

Assist in setting up and cleaning the conference rooms before and after events as needed

Assist Maintenance department in moving furniture and supplies as needed

Perform duties in certain conditions such as inclement weather, heat, cold, sun, rain, and unpleasant smells, or confined space.

Perform daily cleaning on all custodial equipment. Operate all equipment according to established safety procedures.

Follow proper safety protocols while performing duties such as safety signage in the work area, proper use of PPE, using equipment as recommended by manufacturer and supervisor directions, and perform proper maintenance of equipment.

Complete Time Sheets in a timely manner

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to safely handle custodial related chemicals

Ability to safely handle custodial related power equipment

Ability to Lifting 50 pounds or reasanable greater using proper tools and equipment's

Qualifications:

Minimum -

Must have a bility to Lifting 50 pounds or reasanable greater using proper tools and equipment's

Must have a valid drivers license

Must be a current Florida Department of Health employee, in a Selected Exempt Service (SES), Career Service (CS), or Other Personal Services (OPS) position

Preferred -

Prolonged walking and climbing stairs caring tools, supplies, or equipment's

Reaching standing 6 feet and higer to 30 feet using the proper tool or safe equipment.

Ability to work outside of the buiding under reasanable health environment.
