Job Description:

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Team Member I will be responsible for performing tasks including operating tools and machinery to produce dental consumables, used to restore teeth in a highly regulated environment.

This position will be based in our Pomona, CA location in the near future, and will work from our Orange, CA location in the interim.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under close supervision, follows work instructions to produce dental consumables including setting up equipment, weighing material, loading mixing equipment, monitoring process, and completing all required documentation per quality policies and procedures.

  • Performs quality checks throughout the production process to avoid rework and scrapping of product and material.

  • Assist with inventory management by immediately replenishing supplies and reporting a shortage of materials.

  • Immediately report productivity and quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and report any issues or concerns related to safety immediately.

  • Report damaged material, tooling and/or machinery to the appropriate personnel for prompt repair or replacement.

  • Independently complete all required training via computer and attend any required in-person training.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality.

  • Read, comprehend, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs).

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities through the Envista Business System (EBS) including Kaizens, 5S events, Standard Work workshops, Kanban, and Kamishibai.

  • Work overtime when needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of six months of relevant work experience required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required.

  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions in English required.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • Basic mathematical skills including calculating measurements required.

  • Ability to multitask required.

  • Familiar with good documentation practices required.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment required.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$16.80 - $22.70 per hour
