Amergis Hiring School Psychologist for 24/25 School Year in Orange, California
Amergis Educational Staffing is currently hiring School Psychologists for the 2024-2025 School Year. The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aid in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes multi-factored evaluations (initial and re-evaluations) in compliance with state regulations within a designated timeframe
Conducts pre-referral consultation/intervention.
Monitors student’s response to curriculum modifications
Serves as an instructional intervention specialist who plans intervention and individual education
Performs Psycho-educational assessments
Consults individually, or in groups, with students and/or parents or other personnel on matters relating to the education and mental health of the students to ensure the development and provision of the most appropriate education program
Participates in on-going training/in-servicing related job duties.
Consults with teachers and other team members on an ongoing basis
Serves as a technical assistant for the support of implementation of RTI in the assigned schools (if applicable)
Requirements:
+ + Master's degree preferred
Valid California Pupil Personnel Service credential (PPS)
