What You will be responsible for:
Aid the lead technician with installs, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial/industrial clients. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems
Wear floor savers and use drop cloths while in the client's business. Maintain a neat and organized work area.
Assist the lead technician in re-checking each aspect of an install before leaving the job to prevent unnecessary callbacks.
Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer
Be available to work nights or weekends as needed to service emergency needs of our customers
Participate in company provided training opportunities on the latest industry technology
Identify, report and educate client on potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services)

Qualifications and Skills:
Be able to learn by observation and hands-on experience
Follow routine verbal and written instruction
Have effective communication skills with coworkers, management, and customers
Be open to learning new things and applying them quickly
Must be able to background/MVR screening, drug test, and physical fitness test
Must be willing to work afterhours and occasional weekends and holidays
Must have excellent customer service skills
Basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to perform regular manual labor
Basic computer skills
Completion of an accredited HVAC program preferred
At least 1 year of HVAC experience highly preferred
EPA Certification preferred
