CNC Operator

PeopleReady of Ontario, NY is now hiring CNC Operators! People Ready is looking for a Multi Axis Lathe Machinist. In this role you will manufacture tight tolerance Aerospace and Space components in a variety of materials including the latest exoctic alloys. You will be apart of a skilled and growing team pushing the limits of aerospace and additive manufacturing.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 $25 / hour.

What you'll be doing as a Construction CNC Operator:

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of 2, 3 and 7 axis CNC lathes

• ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot CNC lathe code

• Ability to calculate and adjust mchine parameters for tight tolerance parts in a variety of metals

• adjust tools and replace as needed

• develop workable methods and processing for improving machine operations

• Proficient at performing required in process inspections

• Must be able to read and understand job traveler information and component drawings including geometric tolerancing

• Perform other related duties

• Promotes continuous learning and problem solving skills

• Follow all company policies and procedures

Available shifts:

Shift timings  2nd Shift (Evening) and 3rd shift (Night)

Job requirements:

• Commitment to a safety culture where safety is considered first

• Proficient in CNC lathe operation and deburring process

• Programming experience using MasterCam

• Selects and uses inspection equipment and techniques

• Interpret drawings and specifications to industry and/or customer defined specifications

• Determines acceptability of quality of work

• Resolves process issues
