Early Childhood Access Coordinator

Pay rate varies based on experience and education from $19 to $21/hour.

Position Summary: Assist with daily operations at Kids Unlimited Preschool. Manage all aspects of preschool evaluations including outreach, scheduling, paperwork, and communication with stakeholders. Maintain and report data related to evaluations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Committee on Preschool Special Education Evaluations:

  • Receive referrals and communicate with local CPSE chairs and county officials regarding children in need of CPSE evaluation.

  • Schedule appointments with clinicians and families. Support family through process.

  • Manage all evaluation paperwork: Maintain paper and electronic files, transfer evaluation results to necessary documents, mail all required documents, generate bills for service and communication, ensure all evaluation deadlines are met, etc.

  • Serve as a member of the Kids Unlimited Preschool at Springbrook admissions team to fill all vacancies in 3 SCIS classrooms and 1 special class

    Administrative Assistant:

  • Support children (and their families) enrolled at Kids Unlimited in accessing the program: assist with all referral and enrollment paperwork, field inquiries, communicate with/assist program staff, liaise with CPSE chair/county/healthcare provider, manage required documentation, etc.

  • Fulfill administrative duties including but not limited to: attendance, billing, meeting minutes, progress notes, paperwork management & filing, internal and external communication, etc.

  • Assist with and be present for department events such as open house, graduation, staff activities/celebrations.

  • Provide direct care to children as needed

    Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Associates degree in early childhood, child development, special education or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Position requires excellent organization skills

  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with many people, contribute to positive work environment in team setting

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word with ability to mail merge.

  • Familiarity with psychological/clinical evaluations is desired.

  • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
