TEKsystems is hiring underwriting associates to join our clients team in downtown Omaha! Must be comfortable working downtown and working onsite for training. The position with transition to hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office).

Description:

Looking for candidates with strong investigative skills, the ability to utilize the internet as a research tool, excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast paced team environment, excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, and adaptability in a constantly changing environment, including changes to technology, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory conditions

Daily Duties:

• Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business

• Perform independent verification of insured's operations

• Review and process change requests on in-force policies

• Evaluate in-force policies at renewal

• Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes

• Participate in Training of Underwriter Analyst Trainees as needed

• Assist with special projects as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree required

Business experience or degree

Confirmed collegiate GPA of 2.75 or higher

Previous Financial Services experience or Insurance experience preferred
