Description

As a Senior Accountant specializing in cost accounting, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, overseeing the analysis of manufacturing costs and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cost accounting principles, experience in the manufacturing industry, and preferably hold a CPA certification.

• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify areas for cost reduction or process improvement.

• Prepare and maintain cost reports, variance analysis, and other financial reports related to manufacturing operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and engineering to optimize cost structures.

• Conduct regular audits of inventory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Provide support during external audits and regulatory compliance processes.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting cost accounting practices.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA certification preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
