Overview

CHI Health has a terrific opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) interested in the Ear Nose & Throat specialty, who will have the ability to learn from various ENT specialty and subspecialty team members.

This is a dynamic opportunity for someone interested in expanding their provider career in a subspecialty, while working autonomously with a group of outstanding ENT physicians supporting various functions of care.

Opportunity Details:

  • Function as an ENT hospitalist working along side the on call physician, supporting inpatient rounding, clinic, ER consults, same day case add-on & surgery.

  • CHI Health Division on ENT has presence at two main hospitals, to include CHI Health Lakeside & CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center. Support with the on call physician can include various subspecialty ENT services, including Head & Neck, Thyroid & Parathyroid, Facial Plastic & Rhinology - Anterior Skull base

  • Predictable scheduling Monday - Friday, no nights or weekends with flexibility, ensuring clinical contact hours are maintained

  • Open to someone interested in assisting and performing procedures

  • Open to New Grads eager to learn from our fantastic team

Minor Procedures done in Clinic include:

  • Tongue ties

  • Biopsies

  • Ear Tubes

  • Nasal bleed management

  • Scopes

Tremendous pay commensurate with experience with quality and service bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care:

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

  • Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

  • Provide clear and concise medical information.

  • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

  • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

  • Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.

  • Perform procedures as needed

  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

  • Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

  • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

  • Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

  • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

  • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

  • Compliance:

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

  • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

  • Continuous Learning:

  • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.

  • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.

  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty

  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible

Pay Range

$51.58 - 60.18 /hour
