Job Title: Mill Operator

Job Description

Contractors will set up and operate Okuma CNC Mills. Candidates must have their own tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc. Must also be able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Okuma CNC Mills.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Utilize tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.

• Ensure precision and accuracy in machining tasks.

• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC Operation

• 1+ years of experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Proficiency in reading blueprints

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine operation and machining

• Knowledge of hand tools

Work Environment

The environment is hot in the summer but the facility is heated in the winter. The team consists of 100 employees. The work shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The dress code includes jeans, long or short sleeve shirts, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
