Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking Journeyman Electricians to work on commercial projects such as Retail Stores, Gas Stations, Car Washes, and larger projects such as warehouses. The role requires a Current Valid Journeyman's License from the State of Nebraska or a Reciprocal State. Journeyman will be required to manage their own day and any apprentices on site and other Journeyman. Must be able to read schematics and prints with minimal assistance with interpretation.

Hard Skills

  • Journeyman's License from one of the following states: Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming (provided you have carried your current license for a year)

  • Ability to self-perform electrical work on commercial projects

  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints

  • Run conduit, bend conduit, terminate 480V

Soft Skills

  • Communicate respectfully with owners of the project

  • Stay on task and manage own day without much supervision

  • Check ego at the door

  • Ask questions and troubleshoot together with good dialogue

Job Type

This is a permanent local position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in or around Omaha, NE.

Work Environment

Work is in Omaha, Nebraska. Commercial construction projects. Manage own day, work with a small team or alone, interact with owner of the project or building. Diverse group of people focused on getting the work done. Standard respect for owners. Clean and straight work. Finish tasks, finish makeup and clean that area before moving on. Safety is standard across the board. Occasional lunches provided.
