Job Title: Assembly Technician / Equipment Technician

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Assembly Technicians and Equipment Technicians to join a fast-paced startup environment that manufactures lifesaving medical devices for hospitals. The primary product being assembled is a chest blood pump used in surgeries. Entry-level Assembly Technicians will handle tasks such as gluing, cutting, inserting tubes, and putting on labels. Equipment Technicians will assemble electrical and mechanical components, including wiring from board to screen interface, and perform QA testing on the pumps and screen readings.

Both positions require extensive paperwork to ensure hospitals can track the product's functionality and report any issues. The Assembly Technician role involves assembling disposable medical supplies, mainly plastic components, as part of an interdisciplinary team. This position has multiple levels (I, II, and III), with increasing responsibilities and compensation based on experience.

Hours: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7:00 am – 12:00 pm every other Friday (May 31). All Friday hours are mandatory and will be paid as overtime. You will work 36 hours at regular wage each week, with an additional 5 hours of overtime every other Friday.

This is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.

Work Environment

Assembly Technicians work in a clean room environment requiring hairnets, gowns, and specific shoes. Equipment Technicians work in a non-clean-room, office-type environment that requires regular use of computers.
