Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Analyst in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. This role involves optimizing logistics processes, managing transportation activities, and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations. You will be part of an engaging workplace environment where your expertise in ERP Solutions, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Documentation, Logistics, Import Export, Negotiate Pricing, and Freight Costs will be highly utilized.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and management of Transportation and Dunnage packaging processes.

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize the flow of goods, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics activities with production schedules and customer demands.

• Coordinate and manage transportation activities, including carrier selection, contract negotiation, and shipment schedule monitoring.

• Oversee the import/export process and ensure compliance with all required government laws and licensing regulations.

• Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Mitigate risks and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.

• Manage budgeting process for transportation and dunnage program.

• Coach and train team members, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure key performance indicators are met.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement to eliminate waste through setting best practices, training, and potentially automation or software solutions.

• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities.

• Develop inventory strategy for dunnage to support the needs of the business.

• Create, manage, and forecast Key Performance Indicators for our logistics and dunnage programs. Use these KPIs to anticipate issues, problem solve, address deficiencies, and communicate adverse conditions to leadership. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in a Logistics Analyst role or similar

• Proficient in the use of ERP Solutions for logistics management

• Familiarity with management systems and their application in logistics

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Proven ability to create and manage documentation related to logistics processes

• Solid understanding of import-export regulations and procedures

• Ability to negotiate pricing and freight costs effectively

• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes and best practices

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
