Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Olympia, Washington

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Olympia, Washington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow management.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Manage payroll and employee expense reports.

  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and risk analysis.

  • Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of financial information.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
