ManpowerGroup Design Engineer in Olive Branch, Mississippi

Our client, a leader in engineering solutions, is seeking a Design Engineer to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Olive Branch, MS

Pay Range: $40-$45/hour

What’s the Job?

  • Research, analyze, design, and test component parts, processes, or systems to develop new and/or improve core products.

  • Develop and validate solutions to engineering requirements, ensuring that design objectives, cost, and schedule constraints are met.

  • Apply engineering principles and mathematical models to predict and measure design alternatives and validate test results.

  • Provide technical information for review within the Product Engineering team, supporting established engineering practices and standards.

  • Write supporting documentation for procedures, technical reports, and responses to customer requirements.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in an engineering or science discipline; Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.

  • 4-6 years of related engineering experience.

  • Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools, including CAD or modeling systems.

  • Strong ability to apply engineering principles in problem-solving and product development.

  • Experience with gear design and AIAG Quality Standards is a plus.
