Carrington Remote Senior Database and Application Support Concierge in Old Greenwich, Connecticut

What you’ll do:

The SR Database and application Support Concierge will be responsible for providing a single point of contact for all IT issues (i.e., SQL databases, data pipelines, ASP.NET web applications, etc.) for an assigned business unit within the enterprise. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $135,000.00 + annual bonus.

  • Triage all IT related requests from your assigned business unit and ensure a timely resolution. (i.e., if you personally cannot resolve the request or issue in a timely manner than ask for the required enterprise-wide IT resources to provide a viable solution).

  • Ensure realistic expectations are provided to requestor and continued status updates are provided on all open projects or issues. Provide excellent customer service to your assigned business unit.

  • Provide expert support for SQL databases, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and performance optimization.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.

  • Support and maintain ASP.NET web applications, addressing technical issues and optimizing performance.

  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership, providing technical insights, updates, and solutions to support business objectives.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL Server, including SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS, to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain VB/VBA code to support various business applications and processes.

  • Ensure data integrity and performance optimization across Carrington data repositories and data warehouses.

  • Must be available to provide support during the standard business operating hours for your assigned business unit. during normal east coast time zone hours (8AM – 5PM EST)

What you’ll need:

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills.

  • Knowledge of enterprise solutions using Microsoft SQL 2019, Microsoft Report Server (SSRS), Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS), Power BI, SharePoint.

  • Experience using enterprise ETL applications such as Microsoft SSIS or Data Factory.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2019 including T-SQL programming and scripting.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft version control software (DevOps).

  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.

  • Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.

  • Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services.

  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.

  • Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience in business intelligence, reports development, dashboard design, data integration or information management.

  • 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server, including SSMS, SSIS, SSRS

  • 5+ years’ experience with VB, VB.NET, VBA

  • 5+ years’ experience in mortgage servicing, mortgage lending, and/or capital markets

  • 5+ years’ experience with ETL using Microsoft SSIS or Data Factory

  • 3+ years’ experience with enterprise data modeling
