SUMMARY
The T-6 COMBS Program Manager acts as single point of contact responsible for ensuring the successful standup and execution of all program activities. This position determines, in conjunction with the Deputy Program Managers, overall support requirements, including facilities, personnel, safety, and maintenance. The Program Manager directs and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and economical support. This person manages the hiring process for program personnel in program locations. The Program Manager will coordinate efforts with Defense teams, including, but not limited to, providing focus on reducing costs, meeting commitments, improving customer service, and enhancing the operational efficiency of the teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to the General Manager of Government Programs
Responsible for overall management and performance of the contract IAW the PWS
Serves as the primary customer point for contact for the program
Ensures CDRL Management, Program Management Reviews - PMR , and associated staff functions, such as MIS/IT management, are completed
Identifies and achieves program cost targets and financial goals
Responsible for maintaining program staffing, training and safety requirements IAW the PWS and internal policies and procedures in coordination with the General Manager
Manages task priorities, short-notice suspense, operational constraints, and other potential impacts to maintain key performance requirements, and assumes total performance responsibility for work performed and data delivered
Oversees continuous improvement and standardization plans necessary to achieve program quality, delivery and cost targets at all program operating locations
Manages program subcontractors to ensure compliant completion of subcontract obligations
Anticipates problems and works to proactively mitigate them
Ensures tasks are completed within estimated time frames and budget constraints
Schedules and assigns duties to direct reports
Provides daily supervision and direction to staff
Monitors each task and keeps Government Programs leadership abreast of all problems and accomplishments
Anticipate problems related to operational areas and environmental and human factors, and then determine contingency requirements and solutions
Responsible for complying with all safety and health regulations: DoD security protocols, OSHA and all applicable local safety standards, reporting & record keeping
Travel is required
All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from four-year College or university; or fifteen (15) years related experience
Minimum of Fifteen (15) years of experience in aerospace logistics with exposure to both military and commercial operating environments
Extensive knowledge of Performance Based Logistics theory and practical application
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired
Prior experience with United States Air Force or United States Navy logistics management
Experience with maintenance of T-6 Texan II aircraft
Knowledge of operations and leadership at Tinker Air Force base
Knowledge of T-6 COMBS contract
