What are we looking for?

The Construction Services Staff Project Manager is responsible for performing project management work including: preparing proposals, project set-up, process contracts, test data review, prepare project summary reports and invoices.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in maintaining AASHTO and ASTM accreditations by following their protocols and assist in meeting the internal and agency audits criteria.

• Write basic reports giving professional opinions and recommendations applying standard engineering practices and techniques.

• Manage routine to moderately complex projects by providing all technical expertise required to meet/exceed client expectations.

• Assist with proposals, report registration and billing, and dispatching technicians as needed.

• Perform and review various field and laboratory tests on soils, concrete and aggregate materials.

• Prepare various levels of reporting responsibilities depending on the scope of services of a project.

• Work with operations to coordinate field staff on projects as needed.

• Work with project engineers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed.

  Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• 2 years' experience in project management

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record

• Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills

• Basic math, computer skills and the ability to read and understand work plans

• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
