The Johnson & Johnson Cybersecurity organization, Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM), is seeking a Sr. Manager of Cybersecurity Awareness and Training. This position is open to remote work in the US.

We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Awareness and Training to lead and deliver the development and implementation of effective cybersecurity awareness and training programs. In this critical role, you will be responsible for educating and engaging employees, stakeholders, and partners at all levels to promote a strong culture of understanding and accountability. Additionally, you will partner with our product and service portfolio, align with business priorities, engage and influence diverse audiences and measure the effectiveness of security education and awareness efforts.

This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support and enhance a culture of understanding and accountability in protecting information assets and digital systems. A qualified candidate will establish relationships working closely with cross-functional teams to create content, drive awareness and build engagement in a globally dispersed workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic cybersecurity awareness and training programs to educate employees, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Create and deliver engaging and interactive awareness and training materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, videos, and other resources, to effectively communicate cybersecurity concepts and promote culture of accountability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify awareness and training needs, gaps, and areas for improvement, ensuring awareness and training programs are aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

  • Stay informed about relevant regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends in cybersecurity and leverage this knowledge to enhance awareness and training programs.

  • Partnering with the metrics & reporting capability, conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the impact and success of cybersecurity awareness and training efforts make recommendations for enhancements and improvements, as needed.

  • Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and accountability by promoting ongoing communication, engagement, and recognition of individuals and teams for their commitment to cybersecurity best practices.

  • Build and manage the portfolio and budget for awareness and training; including the external management and coordination of external partners, vendors and industry experts.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8-10 years of communications, awareness, training, change management, or cybersecurity related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, communications, privacy, compliance, or a related field from an accredited college/university.

  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity awareness or related roles, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, industry standards and emerging trends.

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering cybersecurity training programs for diverse audiences. Strong instructional design skills, with expertise in creating engaging and interactive content.

  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, build relationships, and influence change effectively.

  • Strong results orientated, self-starter that is comfortable working in a fast-pace environment and adapting quickly and flexibly to change.

  • Successful candidate is proactive and self-motivated, capable of identifying new opportunities.

  • Attention to detail, and strong organizational and teamwork skills and aptitude required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred:

  • Certification in the following is a plus; Certified Information Security Management (CISM) certification, Certified Cybersecurity Awareness Practitioner (CCAP), SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) or related certifications.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry standards related to cybersecurity awareness.

This position may require up to 20% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
