Intel Sr IT Systems Analyst - SAP Financial Accounting in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Description

The Integrated Device Manufacturing 2.0 (IDM 2.0) Acceleration Office (IAO) is a new team responsible for creating the internal foundry model within Intel that will power the next phase of our IDM 2.0 strategy. Implementing an internal foundry model means establishing our current Manufacturing Service plus Intel Foundry Services as its own operating segment and PNL within Intel.

IAO is seeking an SAP Analyst with a strong track record of building end to end financial system flows to drive the foundation for Intel's dynamic business environment. This requires the ability to partner and collaborate across business groups while leading innovation and positive change. This means partnering to create consistent processes, systems and guardrails between our business unit, design, and manufacturing teams. This allows us to implement industry best business practices and capabilities to help Intel deliver leading products and services. Key areas of focus are Managerial Accounting, Profitability Analysis and Financial Analytics.

In this role, responsibilities include, although not limited to:

  • Building SAP Central Finance technology solutions that transform Intel's Global Finance functions.

  • Collaborating on master data elements and other data attributes required for financial analytics to support decision making.

  • Integrating Finance solutions with Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes and systems, ensuring all works together seamlessly.

  • Influencing how SAP data parameters should be set-up to enable managerial reporting that supports actuals versus budget analysis.

  • Enabling SAP Profitability Analysis based on the analytics requirements of our Finance partners.

  • Engaging a team of subject matter experts and key users to build understanding of current and to-be processes.

  • Working closely with our integration partner to define the future end to end process and solution.

  • Working with project team and business stakeholders to arrive at key business decisions as it relates to process changes and system configuration.

  • Working with our integration partner and Finance partners to develop the change management strategy, capture change impacts and lead organization changes triggered by the project.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/BS with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 4+ years of experience, or PhD with 2+ years of experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or STEM-related field.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Lead, with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to SAP leveraging BAPIs and other standard SAP tools.

  • 2+ years of experience applying SAP solutions with SAP HANA Group Reporting, or Business Consolidation, or SAP FICO.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of collaboration across multiple organizations, business partners and stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of managerial accounting processes and finance analytics, including financial planning.

  • Proven track record and experience in leading SAP Central Finance implementations with large global enterprises across multiple legal entities in highly complex systems and project environments.

  • Experience supporting a SAP Finance implementation from hypercare to fully stable production support

  • Experience with SAP MDG Finance and integrations with related SaaS platforms like Concur, Ariba, Blackline, etc.

  • Solid understanding of finance business processes and ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal or no customization.

  • Good understanding and experience with Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes within SAP.

  • Ability to lead requirements and influence the design of repeatable and scalable processes.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $116,819.00-$175,333.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
