Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Manager of Factoring Technology Services in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

BASIC PURPOSE : The Manager of Factoring Technology Services will serve as product owner and partner with Love’s Factoring business leadership to develop deep, strategic relationships while driving results aligned to Love’s strategic priorities. They will have a demonstrated ability to connect business strategy to IT execution with a keen focus on delivering product value to our customers. The ideal candidate will also be passionately aligned to the Love’s culture striving to live up to our core values and customer commitments.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Relationship Management:

  • Partner with leaders both inside and outside the organization to develop deep, strategic relationships while driving results aligned to Love’s strategic priorities

  • Develop deep domain knowledge of your partner’s organizational functions

  • Connect business strategy to IT execution, identifying risks and clarifying opportunities

  • Support Love’s Factoring Solutions and IT with monthly, quarterly and yearly planning efforts around strategic priorities and goals, as required for each part of the business.

  • Proactively sense and anticipate changes affecting strategy in the environmental landscape including organizational improvements, technological advancements, and evolving organization needs

  • Drive results across the organization in line with company culture ensuring we have the right people in the right place doing the right thing at the right time in the right way

  • Champion a culture of shared ownership and constant organizational evolution

  • Develop leadership capacity within the team by casting a positive leadership shadow

  • Establish a high performing team culture that is characterized by exceptional customer service, innovation, financial discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with individuals, teams, and organizations to drive value and meaningful results

  • Understand and align to business needs and assist with organizational change management

  • Navigate projects, initiatives, deployments, changes, etc. to ensure that work is prioritized correctly and that the right work is being focused on and driven day to day

  • Establish KPI’s and metrics that clearly represent the work of the team and utilize them to drive efficiency.

  • Receive and respond to after hour calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding incidents whenever necessary.

Product Owner:

  • Innovate using knowledge and awareness of industry trends to identify new product opportunities and drive them from end-to-end

  • Work alongside the business to develop, own, and execute product roadmap(s)

  • Review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization

  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders

  • Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology

  • Define and execute the go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful

  • Streamline and execute Agile principles to deliver continuous improvements while ensuring our technical platforms are maintained and secure

  • Ensure that we have a continued customer focus understanding their support experience and ensuring appropriate monitoring is in place

  • Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

  • Other duties assigned as needed.

  • Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

  • Possible on-call availability.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:

  • Required: HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Information Technology with experience in finance, or accounting preferred from a four-year College or university; and/or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience:

  • Preferred: 5+ years of financial industry experience

  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience championing organizational change
