Oil States Piper is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of

LOGISTICS TECHNICIAN II

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

In our organization, the Logistics Technician II has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and

meeting our commitments by safely, and efficiently package and ship completed orders according to OSI-OKC Piper

standards while ensuring inventory accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate shipments and collections with approved freight suppliers taking into consideration freight transit times and

cost to ensure the most cost-effective shipping method to successfully meet delivery requirements.

Receive inbound freight shipments, verifying product counts as necessary, and stage for Receiving Inspection.

Perform required system transactions to complete shipments and receipts of outbound and inbound freight.

Respond to telephone inquiries and e-mails and assist with resolution of problematic situations.

Document shipment data, including but not limited to weight, charges, and space availability, as required.

Manage the on-hand inventory levels of packing materials including placing orders, as necessary.

Safely and efficiently operate various forklifts to move palletized components within the OSI-OKC Piper facility.

Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

With guidance readily available, safely, and efficiently transport OSI-OKC Piper parts to customer when required.

Secure loads prior to vehicle movement to ensure parts do not shift or fall from the truck during transit.

Safely pull all necessary parts in accordance with sales order and record on picklist.

Provide appropriate information for the inventory tracking system as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.

Pack and ship completed assembly orders utilizing standardized methods for shipment.

Collaborate with Quality employees and third-party Inspectors to complete Final Inspection Release Notifications as

required.

Report damages and/or discrepancies with received items to the appropriate personnel, as necessary.

Complete all documents, including but not limited to the shipping and receiving logs thoroughly, accurately, and in a

timely manner.

Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties.

Follow and support established HSE programs.

Report any unsafe situations to appropriate Management Team member if necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to identify part numbers.

Strong organizational and scheduling skills.

Demonstrated ability to responsibly handle large volumes of merchandise that represent high dollar values.

Working knowledge of computer software packages such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people.

Strong critical thinking skills.

Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to speak, write and read English.

Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.

Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines.

Qualification Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

At le ast two (2) years of experience in a shipping/receiving role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Must obtain and maintain active OSI-OKC Piper certification to operate Class III forklifts and Level II certifications for

Class II and Class IV forklifts.

Must obtain and maintain active OSI-OKC Piper certifications to operate cranes.
