Job Description
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving strategy, fueling growth, and building relationships? Olsson is seeking a South Geography Leader to do just that in the Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana area.
This role is crucial in driving our regional growth, maintaining our commitment to excellence, collaborating closely with market leaders, and accountability to operations. The focus is on enhancing client relationships and expanding market presence. As a geography leader, you will manage and develop staff, oversee financial performance, and enhance brand awareness. Additionally, you will ensure the execution of firmwide strategic initiatives, manage large projects, and handle major client relationships within the geography.
We currently have one opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of Dallas, TX, Fort Worth, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, or Tulsa, OK.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee strategic direction and long-term plans, aligning with firmwide goals.
Manage multidiscipline growth strategies, including recruitment and client relationships.
Evaluate and expand service offerings, responding to new opportunities and trends.
Enhance external corporate image and brand awareness.
Direct business development efforts and partner on pursuit strategies.
Cultivate key external relationships for business and client development.
Provide leadership on technical and business matters to sector and area leaders.
Monitor financial performance, guiding strategic investments.
Facilitate resource sharing and identify staffing needs to optimize Olsson resources.
Maintain extensive regional contacts and partnerships
Qualifications
You bring to the team:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, landscape architecture, business or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the consulting industry.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership or management position.
Strong communication skills
Proven track record in building, leading, and retaining high-performance teams.
Well-networked in Oklahoma or Texas, with a focus on business development and strategy execution.
