Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role involves managing customer accounts in a specific industry, resolving queries, and maintaining accurate customer records. This position is ideal for those with a strong understanding of accounting software systems, collection processes, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Handle customer queries and concerns, providing timely and appropriate solutions.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC) and IBM AS/400 to manage customer accounts and credit applications.

• Apply knowledge of Accurint and Microsoft Excel to monitor and process customer credit applications.

• Adopt a proactive approach in identifying potential issues and taking necessary actions.

• Perform billing functions effectively to ensure smooth processing of customer payments.

• Utilize skills in Collector and Credit processes to manage collection activities.

• Deliver excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

• Continuously seek to improve collection processes, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and maintain a harmonious working environment. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiar with Accurint software

• Expertise in using Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 system

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Understanding of Collection Processes

• Previous role as a Collector is preferred

• Knowledge of Credit policies and procedures

• Excellent Customer Service skills
