ABM Industries Ambassador Customer Assistant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Overview

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, screen, and direct them to the appropriate recipients.

  • Take accurate messages and relay them promptly to the intended recipients.

  • Provide accurate and courteous information to callers regarding services, appointments, and general inquiries.

  • Greet all individuals entering the organization in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Direct visitors to their designated destinations within the facility.

  • Handle inquiries from the public and customers with patience and efficiency.

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.

  • Prepare letters, documents, and reports as assigned.

  • Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in administrative and clerical procedures.

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

  • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Familiarity with office equipment and systems.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to medium weights.

  • Willingness to work in a hospital environment with exposure to sick patients or visitors.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to respond to emergencies at the facility as directed.

  • Willingness to contribute ideas for continuous quality improvement.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional personal presentation.

  • Strong customer service orientation.am

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Initiative, reliability, and stress tolerance.

ABM Healthcare Support Services Required Testing:

  • 10-panel drug screen for controlled substances.

  • Physical examination to ensure ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • MMR titer.

  • Hepatitis B vaccine series or signed declination.

  • Flu shot (October 1 through April 30).

  • PPD skin test (2-step).

  • History of chicken pox or Varicella vaccines shot.

Pay Rate: $16.39/hr

Shift: 7am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri
