Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork, as appropriate, to ensure safety and timely delivery. Provide leadership for technicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish work priorities to assist the Lead. Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.

  • Highly proficient with forms

  • Establish work priorities and supervise the work of up to 10 Technicians

  • Effectively interact with customer representatives

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • Over 2 years aviation maintenance experience

  • FAA Airframe certification or Repairman's Certificate

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR

  • Proven leadership abilities, such astaking personal responsibility, superb attendance, completing work in a timely manner, and performing tasks accurately.

  • Takes initiative, such as, plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions. Strong judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Time management skills, such as, the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, a problem-solver, and effectively dealing with tight deadlines and work pressure/stress.

  • Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing)

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Powerplant license (A&P)

  • Valid Driver’s License

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma/GED. Must have a minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.

  • Frequently: Lifting ≤40 lbs., push/pull <20 lbs., climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling for extended periods, working in confined spaces. Working above chest-level, overhead, and away from body for extended periods. Bending, twisting of torso, twisting and/or pressure with wrist/hands, fine finger usage, moderate vibrations up to 2 hrs. to high vibrations up to 30 mins. Vision with/without correction; near <20”, far >20’, and basic depth perception (shapes). Working at elevated heights ≥4’, working on ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, and energized parts.

  • Occasionally: Lifting and/or carry ≤50 lbs., sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment, push/pull <50 lbs., work in wet conditions.
