The Hertz Corporation Accounts Payable Analyst in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

A Day in the Life:

The Accounts Payable Analyst will execute day-to-day, mostly non-transactional, Accounts Payable (AP) activities. This role will make accurate payments to suppliers, adhere to appropriate controls, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.

We expect the starting salary to be around $18.00 per hour; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience

What You’ll Do:

  • Complete the monthly reconciliation of priority supplier accounts.

  • Review, analyze, and resolve AP tasks such as system holds that cannot be corrected by Purchase Order (PO) Requisitioners.

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external partners and customers, including responding to and resolving queries via phone and email.

  • Process any refunds timely and ensure correct accounting record is created.

  • Monitor and analyze outsource partner`s quality and performance including completing transactions not executed by the partner and suggesting remediation options.

  • Review and analyze key reports, such as the Accounts Payable Trial Balance, Aging Report, Invoice on hold Report, Unaccounted Transaction Report and take corrective action if needed.

  • Review and document AP activities and processes, analyzing for opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide on-the-job training for department new hires.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ year’s Accounts Payable experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, required

  • Advanced knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and procedures, required; Knowledge of Hertz AP processes and procedures, preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Proficiency in Oracle Cloud software, preferred

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong customer service and ability to identify customer needs

  • Solid analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
