Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role offers a Temp with possible temp-to-hire contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will have experience in both accounts payable and receivable functions, with a strong understanding of tax regulations and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer invoices and other accounting documents

• Use software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and other tasks

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and other accounting matters

• Regularly maintain and update customer records to ensure accuracy

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Use your skills in data entry to maintain and update our systems

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the accounting department

• Utilize your knowledge of invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate billing

• Assist in other accounting tasks as necessary.

  • Assist with the preparation of year-end tax documents and reports, including 1099 forms.

    Requirements • Proficiency in billing procedures

• Demonstrable experience with data entry tasks

• Familiarity with invoice processing

• Proficient in Oracle database management system

• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software

• Knowledge of SAP software for business operations and customer relations

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Previous experience in an accounting or similar role is beneficial

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on data

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
