Assistant Teacher Okanogan

OCCDA has 50+ year legacy as an early learning program that strives to make a difference in our community by supporting children and families. We work to promote family success and improve kindergarten readiness for children. As a staff member you will have opportunities to grow as an individual and professionally and support our philosophy of parents as the primary educator of their children

About the position: Provides a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children (ages 3-5) have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills in a classroom environment. This position will also travel to homes of enrolled families on a monthly basis to provide additional educational services and support to families.

Education and Experience:

  •  Early Childhood Education Certificate or related field for qualified hire, or enrolled in a ECE program. 
  • Valid WA State Driver's License
  • Bilingual/Spanish, preferred

``` -  40 hours per week for 41 weeks per year (one week off at spring break and two at winter break, and some weeks in the summer) - Wage $18.50 per hour for qualified applicant - Access to continuing education - Regular access to a team, who will support you in all aspects of your teaching duties
