What You’ll Do:

  • Weigh out raw material

  • Perform serial dilutions to create standards and quality control samples following a written method

  • Prepare samples for analysis via extraction and microwave digestions

  • Analyze samples utilizing ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma – Optical Emission Spectroscopy)

  • Run validated methods and maintain the systems

  • Verify method passing criteria in real time and report results via LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) system

  • Document experiments and generate data reports via ELN (electronic lab notebook)

  • Assist with rotating section support tasks and perform weekly routine laboratory maintenance

What You’ll Need:

  • Degree requirement: Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or closely related field

  • Minimum of education experience or higher with: analytical laboratory experience and understanding of 2-D chromatography.

  • Additional work experience or research-based experience, preferred.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.

  • Pipetting/Weighing in the microliter (uL) and microgram (ug) range

  • Detail oriented

  • Experience in an analytical laboratory

  • Familiarity with ICP-OES

  • Familiarity with GMP environment

  • Comfortable with human sourced sample material

  • Basic Computer skills- Microsoft Office

  • Notebooking/Documenting experiments- Electronic lab notebooking

  • 2-D chromatographic interpretation and troubleshooting

  • Multi-tasking

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing work environment, and changing projects at a moment’s notice

  • Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively in a group setting, with colleagues and clients

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Individual and Team work ethic

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, high level of engagement
