Mentors are responsible for creating a safe place for Ogden's inner city at-risk youth through leadership.Direct various activities through positive mentorship.Tutor youth in academics.Provide guidance in life decisions supporting healthy choices regarding being productive members of their community.Help maintain a healthy atmosphere of the program.Candidates must monitor and evaluate situations appropriately and execute a rapid plan of action in various situations.Maintain the safety of all parents,staff and participants within the program.Organize and produce activities and games to facilitate growth and creativity.Communicate with parents as necessary regarding behavioral issues and program events.
