The Student Sustainability Coordinator position is for a full-timeWSUstudent who will work in theSustainability Practices and Research Center (SPARC),reporting to the Sustainability Programs andEngagement Manager. The coordinator will assist with campus and community awareness and engagement,helping to coordinate community programs and events,and providing outreach to campus and community members. Duties will include connecting with students on campus to promote sustainability classes,events and activities,assisting with community programs,coordinating the Student Poster Contest at the Intermountain Sustainability Summit,and updating website content. Additionally,the coordinator will help with Sustainability Tracking and Rating Systems (STARS) reporting,and helpingWSUreachSTARSgold by 2025,and other data collection and reporting.The Student Sustainability Coordinator will help to promote a culture of environmental sustainability throughout the University community and will act to facilitate advancement of the sustainability goals of the institution,as well as promoting environmental sustainability values and practices atWSUand among the wider community.
