Duties and functions of this position include the following:Provide career counseling,employment advising,assessment,and career-readiness training services to students (individually or in groups)Facilitate regular presentations/workshops on career-related topics and teach one or more university courses.Oversee career readiness resources and services for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) including acting as a liaison to deans and faculty,building and maintaining relationships with key employers,promoting career readiness,facilitating focused career events,and developing job opportunities/resources for students.Supervise one or more student mentors or other employees.Other projects,committee assignments,and responsibilities as assigned
