Senior Software Engineer
Overview
• Provide world-class support and expertise for infrastructure and environment build outs
• Set the direction for automating deployment of applications and testing for a Micro-service application.
• Continually find opportunities for efficiencies regarding software releases to different environment
• Do you have experience standing up new infrastructure?
• What experience do you have with integrating multiple systems?
Role
• Partner with operations teams to build infrastructure and environment solutions.
• Focus on environment strategy, shakedowns, test harnesses
• Constantly communicate the strategic vision and be the role model for energizing others to work towards the vision
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication
• Evolve processes and standards definitions
• Help to develop and communicate best practices
All About You
• Excellent in Java, JavaScript, Micro-service architecture. Being able to work in PCF, Kubernetes, Kafka, and API calls.
• Excellent Ownership of work which is inclusive of interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Experience identifying, analyzing and mitigating risks
• Ability to translate technical information into business language
• Ability to effectively collaborate in a geographically distributed work environment
• Experience standing up new environments and infrastructure including application installation
• Knowledge of DevOps and automation a plus
• New environment testing/shakedown a plus
• Understanding of Web Engineering, operating systems, databases, code versioning and cloud strategies

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
