System One Warehouse Associate in Odessa, Texas

System One is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for a direct-hire position located in Odessa, TX.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all warehouse operations, including inbound activities (receipt and storage of goods), inventory management, and filing claims.

  • Manage local outbound activities related to order filling, stock replenishment, and shipping.

  • Supervise the local will-call counter and ensure effective facility and equipment operation.

  • Monitor and enforce warehouse operational and personnel policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations.

  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with business systems.

  • Collaborate with Branch Leaders to maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.

  • Schedule and assign associates, follow up on work results, and mentor and develop the warehouse team.

  • Operate business systems to manage local warehousing operations and complete assigned projects by deadlines.

  • Attend meetings, participate in development opportunities, and conduct performance reviews.

    Warehouse Associate Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Education or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a customer service setting.

  • Forklift experience required; mechanically inclined with the ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Proficient in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities with experience managing staff.

  • Knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence skills such as teamwork, adaptability, self-awareness, and self-control.

  • Willingness to travel to other branch locations as needed.
