Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to perform a variety of administrative and managerial tasks that support the Odessa Field Office. Duties include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, managing the team that facilitates onboarding of new hires, and assisting corporate office with projects as tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent organization, time management, problem solver, be a critical thinker, managerial skills, and multitasking ability. The preferred candidate would have industry experience. If you have previous experience that closely fits this role HR t and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.
Compensation:
- $75,000 annually (open to negotiation based on fit and experience)

Responsibilities:
Fill in as needed with receptionist duties such as greeting visitors, directing people at the office, handling general inquiries
Managing the day to day in the Odessa Field office
Managing the onboarding team that processing onboarding of new hires
Special projects
Become the expert in DOT compliance as it relates HR responsibilities(drug and alcohol testing, training, driver qualification files
Recruiting, as needed
Strong communication with operations on employee issues and concerns
Assisting with employee disciplinary action and terminations, as needed
Assistant duties such as mailings, office organization, scanning bills, etc.
Helping with other administrative duties in the shop or the company housing
Very proactive on taking initiative on projects
Assisting Corporate HR
Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
Must have strong communication skills
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
Management experience
Bachelors Degree preferred
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Oilfield and or industry experience preferred
Extremely detailed oriented
Strength in professionalism and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
Exceptionally organized
Excellent computer skills
Pass drug test and criminal background check
2-5 years of prior experience preferred
