Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Mgt industry, based in Odessa, Texas. We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk who will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from processing customer applications to reconciling accounts and managing invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications in line with company policies

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in customer credit records

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records

• Manage the billing process, ensuring that all invoices are sent out in a timely manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and report generation

• Operate the Open Invoice and Ariba systems efficiently

• Ensure all cash applications are processed accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar financial position

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis

• Experience with account reconciliation and maintaining accurate financial records

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) software systems, including Open Invoice and Ariba

• Knowledge of billing procedures and best practices

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proactive in identifying and resolving issues in accounts

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
