BANK FIVE NINE Retail Loan Insurance Escrow in OCONOMOWOC, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Loan Insurance & Escrow Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle various insurance and escrow-related responsibilities for our loan portfolio, ensuring that all insurance coverage requirements are met, premiums are disbursed properly, and escrow disputes are resolved in a timely manner. The role involves direct communication with customers, insurance companies, municipalities, and other stakeholders to maintain proper collateral and flood insurance coverage, manage insurance claims, and support escrow operations. Primary Responsibilities: Monitor and handle incoming communication related to collateral insurance and loan escrow. Directly communicate with customers, insurance companies, and municipalities to acquire current insurance coverage documentation, disburse premiums, and resolve insurance-related issues. Distribute escrowed funds and handle disputes in a timely manner. Monitor and track insurance renewals, reinstatements, and cancellations to ensure adequate collateral and flood insurance coverage from loan inception. Process letters, contact borrowers, and coordinate with insurance companies and agents regarding collateral and flood insurance cancellations or updates. Maintain vehicle insurance policies for consumer loans securing vehicles. Process force-placed insurance for homes or flood insurance when necessary. Oversee flood insurance policies for properties securing mortgages, ensuring continuous and correct coverage. Monitor flood zone data, notifying borrowers as needed based on bank and government guidelines. Resolve any flood-related disputes. Manage property damage insurance claims from start to finish, handling incoming calls, emails, and mail. Scan insurance-related correspondence into the Director system and maintain accurate files. Update insurance information in the Navigator system and relevant reports. Work closely with the CRM group to improve customer communication and streamline insurance-related tasks. Oversee insurance management processor(s) and any additional team members assisting with insurance monitoring. Be the to-go for questions from team members, customers and other internal departments. Work with the Mortgage Loan Servicing Lead on crossover tasks or process improvements. Monitor the Property Tax Vendor website regularly for accurate information and address discrepancies. Assist with requests to cancel or set up new escrows. Provide support for other servicing tasks as needed. Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED. At least two years of experience in banking, insurance, and/or mortgage loan customer service. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
