Were seeking for aDSP-3 Recreation Program Managerto join our TERI team!

The DSP-3 Recreation Program Manager is responsible for supervising and expanding the Out of Home Respite Programs to ensure the program meets the philosophical and educational standards of the corporation. This role is tasked with planning, adapting, and scheduling activities, as well as developing social and recreational programs for children, teens, and adults with developmental and learning disabilities, and to change the way the world sees them, allowing for inclusion within the community.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Develops group recreation activities on site and in the community for a wide range of children, teens, and adults.
  • Reviews and schedules all activities for Out of Home Recreation Programs.
  • Design engaging materials and activities that promote skill development and foster social interaction.
  • Coordinates with Program Director for communication of staff needs and concerns.
  • Assist with training new staff members with job responsibilities, plan activities and educate all policies, and procedures are being met.
  • Supervises medication distribution systems and related documentation aligning with company policy.
  • Conducts observations weekly of all programs and reports findings to Program Director.
  • Collaborate in developing the Behavior Support Plans with Program Director.
  • Supporting students with behaviors, activities in community, personal assistance, specific goals, and all other objectives as required.
  • Oversees staff members, develops, and completes necessary documentation; including weekly and monthly schedule plans, monthly activities schedules, incident and injury reports, and all other required documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS -

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
  • Experience working with children, teens, and adults with developmental and learning disabilities.

Salary Range -

$30.00 Hourly

Part-Time
