Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Planner Sr.- Ocala, FL in Ocala, Florida

Ocala Operations is now hiring for a Manufacturing Planner.

Lockheed Martin's Ocala site is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that builds circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro- assemblies. The facility currently has over 1400 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites. Ocala specializes in both low volume, high mix, and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor-intensive manufacturing. Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.

The selected candidate will:

- Become proficient in SAP and Apriso as they relate to production planning

- Work as an integral part of a cross-functional team on an assigned program

- Provide status of hardware to internal customers

- Monitor material for timely release to factory

- Maintain and monitor all PP&C metrics

- Aid in meeting all scheduled deliveries

- Interface with the customer to provide program health information

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related

discipline

-Must be a US Citizen due to facility requirements

-Experience with ERP/MRP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

-Experience in either make planning, buy planning, manufacturing, or warehouse management experience

-Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems,

databases, and programs including Microsoft Office

-Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and

multitasking skills

Desired Skills:

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing

Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management, or similar

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas

Interest in and ability to obtain Green Belt certification

Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
