California Cereal Products is a ready -to-eat cereal and ingredient manufacturer seeking a person to work as a Maintenance Manager that will direct and coordinate the Maintenance department. We typically run 24/5-6 days. We are seeking a person with prior maintenance manager experience with food processing and have knowledge of Boilers, Chillers, Electrical Motors, PLCs, steam dryers and gas fired dryers.

Job Duties include:

• Foster a safe working environment
• Manage our work order and PM programs
• Responsible for purchasing required parts and components as needed
• Able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
• Manage and set direction of the Maintenance team
• Hire and train additional staff as required
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office
• Other duties as assigned

Conduct weekly inspection of plant equipment

• Continually looking to prevent potential breakdowns
• Evaluate temporary repairs to determine a solution
• Assist in employee training in food safety, HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs

Cross-Functional Support

• Support an environment of learning and growth
• Work with Managers on audit requirements

Experience level:

• Prior Maintenance Manager experience in food processing facility with 3 years minimum
