Description Robert Half is seeking a Transactional Legal Secretary for its large law firm client with an office in the East Bay (near BART / hybrid telecommute remotely 2 days/week). This position supports an equity partner and 2-3 senior practitioners in the real estate and land use practice groups. The firm specializes in public law and their clientele are municipalities and government entity clients. The seat is open because the partner's longtime secretary is moving.

Duties include: regular client interaction, word processing, formatting, and editing of legal documents, and interfacing with the accounting department re: inputting/cleaning up attorney time for monthly client billing.

Qualifications include: (i) 3+ years of real estate, land use, corporate, or transactional legal secretary experience; (ii) impeccable proofreading, formatting, editing, and redlining skills; and (iii) proficiency with MS Word document, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheet creation, and document comparison software.

This is an established law firm with long-term, happy staff (low turnover) and friendly, flexible management. The annual base salary range is $80,000 – 100,000+/yr, DOE, and the employment benefits offered are very generous. 37.5 hour work week.
