Description We are seeking a Receptionist for our team located in OAKBROOK TERRACE, Illinois. This role centers around providing first line client service in a small office setting, involving tasks such as answering phone calls, setting appointments, and maintaining office schedules. This role also offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls and setting appointments to facilitate smooth office operations.

• Serving as the first point of contact for clients, providing a welcoming and professional service.

• Coordinating the office schedule and calendar to ensure all activities are accurately logged and communicated.

• Maintaining accurate data and records, including entering data into CRM and logging client payments.

• Preparing and organizing office documents, contributing to efficient workflow.

• Assisting in office preparation for meetings, ensuring the environment is suitable for all attendees.

• Welcoming visitors to the office, providing a friendly and professional atmosphere.

• Coordinating activities with the advisor to ensure all tasks are completed as needed.

• Managing general filing tasks to keep all documents organized and easily accessible.

• Utilizing the MS Office Suite for various tasks, demonstrating technical proficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in receptionist duties, including managing phone lines, greeting and directing visitors, and handling office inquiries.

• Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner with clients, visitors, and staff members.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines.

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and record keeping practices.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage stress effectively during busy periods.
