Job Description

The Associate Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the timely resolution and execution of scrapping for NA MA products as deemed for various business reasons. This cross-functional role provides an interface between Quality (QMM), Business Unit, Warehouse to ensure timely execution of all scraps. In addition supports RTV, VOR's, IDOC management, bottleneck and support warehouse with resolution of overage/shortages and other supply interface topics.

  • Efficient and timely resolution of shortage/overage resolution and return to vendors (RTV) with purchasing and warehouse to drive improvements to the receiving process

  • Scrapping: Execution of scrapping for all business units, tracking of progress, and support to CTG for business planning.

  • Proactive Shelf Life: Works with planners and product managers to proactively determine an action plan on how to use stock before it hits shelf life. Owns tracking and supports execution of action items.

  • Status 50: Works with planners and product managers to determine an action plan on how to use stock for parts that are have been phased out. Owns tracking and escalation management, and supports execution of action items.

  • Q notification: Works with planners and product managers to close notifications for quality related issues. Owns tracking and escalation management, and supports execution of action items.

  • Bottleneck: Owner of report that is run daily to identify parts on bottleneck, sends report, and manually allocates on part number level to support business in critical supply situations.

  • Proxy for IDOCs: Supports with IDOC management

  • Max Cap process AA-AS: Owner of report that is run daily to identify peak orders, sends report, and manually allocates on part number level

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred

  • Supply chain experience is a plus

  • Basic understanding of Excel required (Pivot tables, look-ups, etc.)

  • SAP knowledge is a plus

  • Minimum 2 years business experience, including at least 1 year with supply chain, IT systems, logistics functions such as demand planning, production planning, and distribution planning in an automotive or consumer products business with emphasis on forecasting, warehouse, and finance.

  • Excellent communication skills, strong process development skills

  • Strong analytical & root-cause problem solving skills

  • Detail and multi-task oriented

  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
